We begin by modeling the character in the standard DaVinci neutral pose.

In FigAnim, our proprietary animation engine, we are able to test the construction of the joints using The Exercizer. Thus, these intermediate poses were accomplished by manually positioning the limbs within the animation engine. Once the model passes inspection, we can attach the mesh to pre-existing motion capture data, allowing the avatar to prance around in a more sophisticated manner, as seen below.

These are all screen shots taken in real-time within our animation engine. The images above show the Lionhearth mascot heroically striding across the screen while under the influence of "The Fashion Walk" motion capture data. Eye Tracking gives the impression that the Lion is meeting your gaze.
