High Poly Avatars
Lion -
Animated
FigAnim / Lil Ego /
Alter Ego
We begin by modeling
the character in the standard DaVinci neutral pose.
In FigAnim, our proprietary
animation engine, we are able to test the construction of the
joints using The Exercizer. Thus, these intermediate poses were
accomplished by manually positioning the limbs within the
animation engine. Once the model passes inspection, we can attach
the mesh to pre-existing motion capture data, allowing the avatar
to prance around in a more sophisticated manner, as seen below.
These are all screen shots taken in real-time within our
animation engine. The images above show the Lionhearth mascot
heroically striding across the screen while under the influence
of "The Fashion Walk" motion capture data. Eye Tracking
gives the impression that the Lion is meeting your gaze.
